TWO LITTLE MIRACLES

Welcome to Friday in my little corner of the world where the sun is shining both outside and in my heart.

We have two little miracles to be very grateful for -

Latest update on McKenzie is that she has been promoted to Ronald MacDonald House and was waving to the cars as she walked there.

She really does have cause to shout for joy.

Brooke continues to make good progress although is giving her parents a hard time with taking medication, but it's really hard for a little girl to understand the importance of anti rejection meds.

Lots of other parents have offered advise and suggestions.

Hard to believe it is just four weeks since transplant.

Aliyah (McKenzie's sister) had surgery on Thursday and came through very well and in typical Aliyah style she is up and about.

It is great to be able to rejoice with these families in the success of organ donation and transplant and wonderful ongoing medical care and I encourage everyone to make sure you spread the word about how important it is to let your family know your wishes.
