WET WEDNESDAY EARLY MORNING AND WONDERFUL NEWS

I have some wonderful news to share with you all - this beautiful girl was blessed to receive a new liver a few hours ago and everything is looking good. The surgery went well and Kortni is resting in ICU and her Sister Kelly may be able to go home very soon.
This is Kortni's blog "Chopped Liver" and the last few posts have been done by her Fiance Coleman and I am thankful to have had him keep us in the loop.
Read his post for more detail - and be thankful for Kortni and spare some thoughts and prayers for a family who despite their grief at parting with a loved one were generous enough to allow organs to be used. Donor Families are very special.
It is wonderful to have surgeons of great skill and wonderful nursing staff who do such a wonderful job.
I shall keep you posted as to how Kortni is progressing as I hear.
