THURSDAY AND KENZIE IN SURGERY

Smiling in spite of it all.

Good Morning Australia and Good evening Northern Hemisphere friends - as I write this precious little girl is in surgery and these are  the messages from her page:

They are prepping her surgery right now. Please pray. They are prepared to remove her intestines. Please pray they are able to help her without removing the intestine. Removing the intestine means an entirely new transplant. Please pray for wisdom for the docs. Please pray for peace for mom and dad, protection for Kenzie

Surgery could take 6 hours or more. They are carefully going through her intestines and removing any scar tissue. After they do all of this, they will determine if the intestine needs to be removed. If the intestine has to be removed, she will have to have a completely new transplant, new intestine, new pancreas and new liver. PLEASE pray they can find a cause for the bleeding that they can fix

Please hold this family and the surgical team close in heart and prayer and let's hope for patience, calm and wonderful medical skills.
